The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that none of the Baltic countries has given permission to use its territory or airspace for attacks.
These claims are outright lies and completely unfounded
— the ministry stated.

Protest over the dismantling of the memorial
Separately, Latvia protested against the decision of the Russian Tomsk authorities to dismantle memorial signs to the victims of political repression, including the memorial to repressed Latvians.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs believes that such actions reflect Russia's position on justifying the crimes of the Soviet regime.
According to media reports, on the night of April 19, the "Stone of Sorrow" memorial and memorial signs to repressed representatives of various peoples, including Latvians, Lithuanians, Estonians, Poles, and Kalmyks, were dismantled in Tomsk.
