Ukraine and Poland are strengthening cooperation between energy companies Naftogaz and ORLEN, and an agreement on joint border control at checkpoints is expected to be concluded. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko after a meeting with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, UNN reports.

According to Svyrydenko, the Ukrainian-Polish cooperation has a rich agenda.
We focused primarily on defense, energy, bilateral trade, and the development of border and logistics infrastructure. In the near future, we expect to conclude an agreement on joint border control at checkpoints and the resolution of technical issues related to the registration of Ukrainian carriers in the SENT/RMPD system

In addition, as Svyrydenko reported, Ukraine and Poland are strengthening cooperation between the energy companies Naftogaz and ORLEN, as well as the participation of Polish companies in privatization processes in Ukraine.
