Approximately 1 million bees ended up on the road in Tennessee after a truck crash, leading to a temporary closure of a highway exit. This was reported by AP, writes UNN.

The incident occurred on the Interstate 40 exit in Knoxville. After the accident, a swarm of bees covered a section of the road, forcing drivers to slow down and temporarily restricting traffic.
Mark Nagi, a regional spokesperson for the Tennessee Department of Transportation, stated that there were no injuries as a result of the incident.
The I-40 East exit to Henley Street is open again, but the truck is damaged, and the bees… well… are buzzing
– he reported.
Drivers were urged not to leave their cars without protective clothing.
The situation was quickly resolved
Later that day, all bees were collected and removed from the scene, and the damaged truck was cleared.
The incident also sparked a wave of jokes on social media. In particular, Congressman Tim Burchett wrote: "So, this is the buzz in town? It just writes itself."
Similar incidents have occurred before: in 2018, a bee-related accident also led to a highway closure in the US.
