In this area is located the LPS "Nikolskoye" – an object of the main oil products transportation system. The station performs pumping and dispatch control functions of flows, receiving product from adjacent LPS and refineries of central Russia through the "Druzhba" system, after which it distributes it along pipelines towards the domestic market of the RF and export routes through Belarus
– as stated in one of the messages.
It is noted that information regarding possible damages and consequences is currently being clarified.
