Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi made a working trip to one of the hottest sections of the front, where Ukrainian soldiers are holding back the offensive of Russian occupiers. He announced this on Facebook, as reported by UNN.

According to Syrskyi, he worked in the area of responsibility of the 19th Corps, which defends the Kostiantynivka-Druzhkivka agglomeration.
Russian troops in this area are trying to improve their tactical position by combining attacks by small infantry groups and massive drone strikes.
For almost a year, our units have been successfully repelling enemy attempts to capture Kostiantynivka, holding positions and inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
– Syrskyi noted.
He emphasized that Ukrainian commanders demonstrate high adaptability and make non-standard decisions in accordance with changes on the battlefield.
Among the key tasks remain the destruction of enemy rear logistics, the elimination of enemy infantry even at the stage of preparing assaults, and the preservation of the lives of Ukrainian military personnel.
During the trip, the commander-in-chief also discussed with commanders the urgent needs of the units, in particular regarding strengthening countermeasures against enemy drones, providing ammunition and material and technical means.
As a result of the work, some problematic issues were promptly resolved on the spot.
In addition, Syrskyi visited the 2nd Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine "Khartia", where he presented honorary badges to the military.
