According to Sport.ro, the ceremony began on Wednesday, when the coffin was displayed at the National Arena. Public access will be open from 5:00 PM via a controlled route, ensuring a smooth flow of visitors. The first memorial service took place that same evening at 6:00 PM.
The visiting program will continue throughout Thursday, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, providing an opportunity for all who honored him to pay their last respects.
The funeral procession will move to St. Elefterie Church, where the funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM. However, participation in the church service will be limited to family and close guests.
The final stage of the ceremony will take place at Bellu Cemetery, starting at 12:20 PM. The moment of burial, scheduled for 1:10 PM, will be preceded by military honors.
According to the organizers' wishes, public access to the cemetery grounds will be restricted, with this area reserved exclusively for family and a narrow circle of close ones.
